She was 17 when she made the video and apologized for what she said, saying she was ‘immature’ and ‘very angry at the time.’ She had conflict with her family who are Mormon and her being atheist made them argue a lot.

It seems like an apology is never good enough for the psychotic and obsessed. I really hope these weirdo’s are dealt with soon.
I am having the same problem. I wanted to get my youtube channel up and running for a while now but I know I won’t be able to handle the hateful and stupid because it can get out of hand. It’s instances where there needs to be a book on how to be tactful on the internet or else your going to piss at least one person off which really takes away the point of a personal opinion. I am really starting to hate the internet because it gives cowards ammo to hide behind screens and bully. Man I hear ya
I find that Tumblr is the dark place where the crazies obsess over their fandoms in an unhealthy way. One of the biggest ones is the discussion about Catching Fire and how girls are saying they will either harm themselves or others just because their favorite actor won’t be cast as Finnick. I even notice it on the Disney Princess tag people having petty arguments over whether or not Mulan should be marketed as a Princess. Tumblr is the place where things get out of control fast.
Well at least we can report and try and stop it! All bullying needs to stop.
I’m not really into Tumblr but I recently discovered Laci Green and I love her videos. Has she contacted the police about this? I mean, something should be done about this.

Alex, I so agree with what you’re saying. Being PC *all* the time is SO hard. I triple check posts I’m about to make to make sure they’re nothing offensive and it’s exhausting, but I don’t like getting into drama, so I try my best.
I only follow 2 people on Tunblr: Tyler Oakley and Daily Grace. And this is mostly so I can be in their Q&A vids.
The Klaine fandom on Tumblr is generally really nice (it’s all rainbows and hugs and pictures of Chris Colfer’s butt!) but I remember like a month ago some pictures leaked of Darren with his supposed girlfriend, and some people really overreacted and started hating her. Tumblr can be really scary sometimes :/

For those who don’t know of her, Laci Green (lacigreen on YouTube) is an AWESOME educational video blogger covering topics on gender, sex, sexuality, body image and stuff like that. She’s absolutely awesome and I would recommend everyone subscribe to her; she never fails to teach me something new in almost every one of her videos. 😀
She said it 3 years ago, and she admitted it was uneducated at the time; she said this way before she began her research on transsexuality/transgender and before she started her "Sex+" YouTube series.
She took the video down after admitting it was silly of her to say at the time… but she STILL got threats over it.
She’s awesome! She does educational/entertaining videos on sexuality, nobody will watch three or four of her videos without learning something… 🙂
