These surrounding venues are maybe one of the reasons why the musical passion of Gorge leads to the foundation of the first label imprint called "Amused Records" back in 2004 where his partners Nick Curly and Wolfgang Wahl are also actively involved. A very short period of time later a second platform named "Amused8Bit" with releases of the likes Johnny D, Ray Okpara and SIS already follows. In 2007 the stylistic tendencies of the two labels become more and more different so that "8 Bit Records" gets a relaunch and new artists like Gruber & Nürnberg, Dubshape, Ali Kuru and also highly profiled projects like Peace Division and Audiofly enter the roster. Since 2008 Nick Curly and Gorge run the label "8 Bit Records" in cooperation together and its sound becomes more and more trendsetting in terms of high quality "Deep House" and "Tech House".
